Cannot stop firing a bow with a controller

Hello I decided to try using a controller today to see how well it is implemented in Valheim. Overall the experience was quite good.

However I noticed one glaring issue with the game currently. While using the bow there is currently no way to stop firing the bow. Normally with a keyboard and mouse one can right click to immediately stop drawing the bow back without firing. While using the controller both triggers cause the bow to fire. I tested this with both the crude bow and the finewood bow and had the same results.

Currently there is a work around which is clicking the right stick in to put the bow on your back however that is a little annoying. I'd assume it is intended for the left trigger to serve as this function.

pretty sure you can’t even cancel it on mouse and keyboard anymore intentionally so I’m not sure why you bumped this year+ old thread
