computer completely crashes

The games working fine, then all of a sudden my graphics card cuts out makes a loud noise likes its trying to overclock or something. The monitor goes black and I have to restart my pc all together. Literally no other game I own does this to me. Its only been this game. Its really annoying and ive tried a bunch of different options.

same here dude, whole computer is crashing, i fixed it once my luck i guess, moved files to HDD and clean installed drivers. Only this game aswell.

When i first bought it the game worked fine, once i closed it and reopened in the morning it started doing it, i just woke up again, its now doing it again.

yup... the first time i run the game i had no issues, the next day it started CTD every 15ish minute

Installed, started game up and it was windowed. Clicked full screen and it crashed. Will attempt to play 1 more time then going to have to ask for refund if it crashes again.

yeah same here it completely turns off my monitors and ramps up all my fans to max, then i have to turn off my computer from the actual power button on my PC. And now I cant even play the game without it happening

Same. happens about every ten minutes so i can't get anything done. tried a lot of different attempts on fixing this but to no avail :(

This is happening to me as well- I've tried pretty much everything, I don't really know what's going on.
Edit: Someone in another thread found that everyone that this is happening to is using an I7-9700k, might be the cause of it somehow.

If this is this case, it makes me think a driver issue for the cpu.

i re-installed the game... it seems working fine now, 2 days in a row

Yep happening with my 3900XT as well, I'm thinking the save file gets corrupted, and or the the overflow sends weird commands to the CPU and could happen to anyone at anytime if these certain commands are called? just an idea but not too sure. Would have to delete all files from the folders and and the actual cloud to actually play again, but i'm not sure. Cause it loads the title screen and completely crashes the PC everytime without fail.

Lucky, I tried doing it and it would keep crashing the entire PC anyway

Worked for about an hour for me before completely bricking my pc again.

so funny thing if this is happening try other games out and see if it happens in other games as well, cause I had to do a full restart of windows to get everything back to normal but did not reinstall the game due to a fear it might cause the same ♥♥♥♥.

30 hours in. Wake up to play today, getting the crash. Reinstalled. Removed all world files to start fresh (backed them up of course) and I get the same crash. Screen goes entirely black and then windows reboots.
