Immediately disconnected when joining a dedicated server
Hi,

I have rented a dedicated server that me and some friends play on. Two of my friends are playing from the same apartment and cabled internet through a router. These two have had occasional disconnects the past week, but it has in general been working fine.

After the most recent patch 0.148.6 they have been disconnecting almost immediately after joining the server. We've been debugging and trying to fix this issue thinking it was the server or their WiFi.

They have performed a factory reset of their router and updated their firmware, we tried wiping/restoring worlds, deleting the httpcache on the server. Then we tried a demo dedicated server from another server hosting company, and they still disconnected.

This gives me an inkling that there might be some issues with todays update. Checking the full patch notes two specific lines stand out to me:

* Better bad connection detection
* Fixed issue causing server to send more data the longer a client was connected

I understand your frustration, you're not alone, a lot of ppl leave the game since the last patch. Even me, my server continue to be paid for nothing, waiting for a update with no date yet.

The only solution i found was to increase the setup of the server and reinstall the client on my desktop. But still, the lag is here and the fear to be disconnected in the middle of ocean or plains is really annoying.

To be fair, it's not even the official release of the game, let the time and wait for a new content

We have a server with Nitrado. I logged a ticket but they can't do anything about it as the issue is coming from the game. I realize it is an early access game but this still s*cks... We haven't been playing anymore as we get kicked after like 5 minutes. I guess waiting for a new update is the only thing we can do :(

I've a Nitrado Server too, my server is more stable than after the recent patch but still not perfect.

What i've done :
Upgrade the Nitrado Server
Copy the world folder of the server to my desktop
Reinstall the server
Upload the folder to the server after the restart and delete the initial world
Add the correct name of the world in the conf
Reinstall the game on my desktop

After that you can log in without problem, but you can find in the console this error

Still be careful and save time to time your world files to be sure, (even with the backup at night)
