I have had one crash total in my play time.
go to ASUS or whichever website has your drivers and download the firmware update for the video BIOS. It's not included in standard driver updates and it fixed it all for me. Runs much smoother too. I'm running the RX 5700 Dual EVO and i found it had a lot of the same problems as the XT
For me event viewer only lists it as a AppHangB1 error. And because the game itself doesn't crash I have no crash logs for Valheim.
I have come across four different kinds of crashes since Valheim has launched, non of which have been fixed. Possibly some kind of memory leak as well.
MANY of the people i know have either had all four or just one or two from time to time.
With every update I hope that the Devs will talk about successful crash fixing, or at least slap it at the top of their road map, but sadly, no. Nothing.
Instead they talk about upcoming content- which, to me, is maddening.
Dont expect crash fixes anytime soon.
If i were you id come back in another six months.
