Ground loot not picking up :(

Hello. I'm writing this in regard to my recent purchase of Valheim. Valheim has been giving me consistent issues since I have purchased it and I've tried to find a solution to no avail. In-game, you collect materials to craft and upgrade armor and weapons and such, but I collect them only half the time it seems. Whenever I go to pick up say a piece of ore it gets picked up and doesn't appear in my inventory. I've tried uninstalling and re-downloading Valheim and it worked momentarily, but at a certain point, it started happening again. I've spent an excessive amount of time struggling to progress because of this and I just can't play anymore. I couldn't find any guides on how to fix it nor any posts about this issue on the forums. I've contacted steam support in hopes of finding further assistance. I've reached my wits end and would appreciate any input. Thank you.

I think this is the first time I've heard of this happening.

Is your inventory full? Are you at max weight? Are the items going into your hotbar and you're possibly missing them?

I swear up and down I have space in my inventory. happens with logs and stones, I've noticed leather as well.

If you're sure the items aren't just stacking with other items you already have then I've got a few suggestions.

Have you tried making a new world to see if the problem persists on a different world? Is this happening in multiplayer or single player? Have you tried making a new character and testing in that as well?

Could be something's corrupt. You say it worked fine after reinstalling, so when it starts happening again try validating your game files to see if something got messed up. Might be an issue with your HDD or SSD, I'd error check your storage device. If something's being saved on a bad sector/sectors it could cause all kinds of odd issues.

If none of that helps I'd say try to contact Iron Gate directly to report the issue.
