getting disconnected every 5 to 10 min from my partners game , played over 500 hours not a problem before .

Are you playing Wireless over Wi-Fi or Direct through LAN ? I had issues before with Wireless and this is the only game I have ever experience such an issue.
I have to make sure I play wired or the game disconnects me from the network. Unless you having a CTD

playing wi-fi , worked fine before update , big pain in the butt to run a cable , thankyou for answering ,

No Problem. I had to figure out a way to run a cable into my play area since the Router was in another room and yeah, it is a pain in the rear, it was the only way I could play. My issue was with the last few updates last year. I have not had issues prior but for some reason I was not able to play wireless anymore

thankyou , it ended up i needed to update my net geni wifi , for some reason it reverted back . case solved my crazy PC .

Are you in a server or are you all playing in your own world ?

Is an Intel WiFi built in for a laptop? Sometimes WIndows 10 will just revert it for no good reason. You may need to try and shut off auto update for that.

I'm also having this issue. Tried uninstall reinstall - still no dice. Trying to connect to dedicated server, every 10m or so i get booted.

It happens for my playing partner too. Every 5 to 10 minutes she gets a connection lost. We tried wi-fi and wired. I‘m playing on the same internet connection, same network, and I do not have any problems.

Any ideas? You can‘t go to swamp or mountains with this :(

update the firmaware on the router. Could be a issue with that if you are on the same network wired or wireless. I play with my wife on the same network and she does get disconnection errors at times rarely but never disconnected entirely

I have big lags using WiFi as well when playing with just up to 2 friends. It's kinda a normal experience for me. This goes with other games as well. If I really want a non-lag experience i'd have to switch to my cabled desktop but because of travels that isn't always practical.

TL/DR: Wireless (Laptops) always give some sort of hiatus playing games.

it's not wifi firmware. this sort of disconnect lag never happens with other games - or prior to the hearth/home update.
