Can we build on boats?

Was my dream to build on boats. Had my whole base in the cyclops on subnautica and it was great. Built my base in the house boat in the forest. Can we build on a boat?

Not normally, but there is a mod called ValheimRAFT - Continued (I guess the original mod was abandoned). Might be just what you're looking for.

You can take over (and terraform if you want) a small island. This has the advantage of practically eliminating all most all the raids in the game (or at least slowing the ground pounders down enough you can take them out easily with a bow.)
