Grausten roofs
So i finally managed to put a Grausten roof on my hellbase. The wood really didn't fit. Wow! what a mission! Grausten clips anywhere it seems and if one have even a slightly complicated built you can spend hours get stuff to clip right. The end result is not bad and finish off the Grausten/marble buildings. It took me a while to realize that the are placed 90deg, i.e. they don't follow the walls. Phew!

Congrats that looks beautiful. Grausten really is a challenge to build with. As you say so many snap points.

Thanks! I guess it goes with the increased difficulty of Ashlands. I loathe building pieces to defeat me as well.

Beautiful. Roofing is the most frustrating part for me so I applaud based on that alone. Whole build looks amazing and well thought out.

You know you can toggle through snapping points, right?

I know that I know about toggling through the snap points, but Grausten has so many it takes forever to build things. Especially since the roofs don't typically take the same piece over and over, you got to keep rotating and rotating and rotating every time you put one down and toggle the snap over and over that it can be exhausting. When you do get them right though they do look pretty.

Yep. Try toggling through seven combos where none do what you want them to do. The pieces are too thick with too many surfaces.

I love waking up there. Sunrises are stunning.
