Hard:

I have been playing very hard and was wondering why I couldn't outrun the trolls. Thanks for this info.
Each star on an enemy increases health by +100% (linear) and base damage by +50% (also linear). The reason why damage seems like it changes non-linearly is because of the math behind how armor and shields work.
