Do marble walls have more HP than stone?
Or could they have some hidden armor value? Everybody talks about what what you can build with them or that you can build slightly higher with them. But i want to know how they hold against a raid event verses stone. Wiki states black marble has the same HP as stone but i find it hard to believe.
Thanks.

The wiki says it have resistances, but i never tried.

edit: actually it doesn't say it anymore, but i'm pretty sure it was.

Black marble is superior to stone in every way and offers much better protection from raids than stone structures. I survived "They sought you out" (random mistlands-level event) in double fortified stone structure -- outer walls made of two vertical layers of stone, instead of the usual one. Some of the outermost stone blocks were destroyed during the raid, but the inner wall held until the end. Had the structure been made of marble, a standard wall would've been enough. Keep in mind that a single 1x1 block of stone or marble has the same HP as any of the big blocks.

Ultimately, it will depend on the specific raid type and whether the damage to the marble structure is targeted or AoE. Upgrading from stone to marble is totally worth it. You can even tell by how much more difficult it is to mine marble than stone.

For me it said it was "immune" to most/all elemental damage types. I also noticed black marble was neutral to pickaxe while stone was weak to pickaxe

I'm pretty sure that last time that i checked there were also resistances towards slash, pierce and blunt, but it doesn't say that anymore.

You can easily test this yourself. Marble is more durable and has resistance against elemental/magic.
the resistance to magic explains why we can surround the eitr refinery with black marble and the black marble walls do not take any damage when making refined eitr.

This is the major advantage of black marble.

You can also use walls of iron for your refinery, that works too.

Better than resistent, Immune. Black marble for askvin taming is amazibg if you dont like holes or earth walls. Immune to fire damage.
