bow draw time

I play max difficulty and I did watch some streams which made me discover that my bow draw time is significantly slower at the same skill level and bow level (crude).

Which world modifier is slowing down bow draw time???

World settings do not affect bow draw speed.

It could be that the streams are what's untrustworthy, for example using mods.

Yeah, 90+ is near-instantaneous draw (I have a character that I've been playing since February 2021 that I maintain 90+ Bow skill on). Simply tapping the mouse button won't always get you full power, but anything more than a fraction of a second means wasting Stamina.

That guy had no mods, early game, bow skill at 15, crude bow level 2, it was obvious that his draw time was significantly lower than mine. He was shooting the elder at a rate I would never achieve, and I was careful about the size of the aim circle to see if he was not shooting "early", and nah.

Maybe that video was a timelapse?

There is no modifier that affects the bow's draw speed. It depends solely on the bow skill level.

It means something is seriously off somewhere.

Higher bow skill = lower time to draw bow. You probably wouldn't notice it until +50 which is rare to hit anyway since bows take so long to level and also cause if you die you lose some of those levels. If you're dying as few times a biome you won't ever really level bows properly.

The first thing which came to my mind when he was shooting the elder: "wait, he has an insane fire rate, even though he does not shoot early". Same skill level, same bow, same bow upgrade, I did fire up valheim and tested: MY BOW DRAW TIME WAS SLUGGISH TO HELL COMPARED TO HIS.

If the bow draw time was substantially shorter, then that means the streamer was using mods. This is the only explanation that fits. Please stop trying to read everything else into it.
