What is the best way to destroy Fallen Valkyries? Me and my friend encountered one on our first beach, hadnt set up a portal, and then we got destroyed. then we rage quit. what is the best way to destroy those things?????!!!!!?????

magic seems to be doing really well in the ashlands for me provided i don't get overwhelmed iv'e been using shield staff and frost staff specifically especially since enemies on the coast will get the wet debuff if they touch the water which makes ice magic much more effective.

as for dealing with the Valkyries the best bet is to keep your distance and maybe have someone who is built as a tank to keep their aggro away from you.

valkyrie isnt too dangerous. in fact, the whirlwind attack is excellent for friendly fire against other mobs. just dodge roll and watch it destroy everything. the fire projectiles are really weak. and every regular melee attack is an opportunity for parry and counterstrike.

i use the spear and parry shield.

How to easily dealt with valkrye, once I dealt with 2 valk + 1 morgen with many mobs at same time

summon 2 flaming ogre with Ogre staff
Fire staff for long range
ice staff for short range
keep your shield up at all time
when summoned ogre dead, summon again

Find a rock. Run araund the rock when valk spawns the fireballs. Shot bow till it dies. Profit.

Its possible to bait Ai to get close by equiping the bow, then switching to melle weapon + shield to stun it.

Poision res potion can also help (you probaly have loads of those from bug dungeons).

ive murdered them with Skol with some careful maneuvering. Theyre not as scary as they look imo. their poison fire balls are slow and easy enough to move out the way from

valks are tanky. they have 1500 hp like gjalls but dont share thier weakspot. however : valks are 1 of only 2 enemies which do NOT resist pierce dmg. so bow with frost arrows and crossbow can take them down rather quickly.

keep your distance. trying to melee these things is not smart. thier ranged attack is like a gjalls : very easy to avoid as its slow as hell. thier melee attacks are all rather fast compared.
that beeing said thier spin to win move has friendly fire. they often kill everything around them for you.

if a valk is part of any fight TAKE IT OUT before all else. beware of askvin when fighting in an open field as they love to backstab you while you fokus on that thing. if you spot a valk in the distance fight a good spot and snipe it to lure it over to fight on your terms and area. never go towards it. if the wrong enemy decides to join the fray you can get into trouble quickly.

the good news is : valks cannot have stars.

frost arrows work really well as they slow it and do good dmg vs it.
