I've had a worlds where some low mountains were by the starting meadows creating some truly gorgeous flat-ish building zones that would have looks like an amazing backdrop.
I had one world where a plain was directly behind my Elder Spawn.
I've had a few worlds where my Elder Spawn was on the water, or Yagloth's was. . .sailing up to that the first time or two is a treat.
My current world has a MASSIVE central continent that runs almost fully north/south with every biome accounted for and makes for. . .interesting sailing trying to find new swamps

Seed : tWwzCmdNJ2
As for myself, I really enjoyed this seed: yhWc8g9Nig
Interesting! I see close Modder and lots of wolf caves. What did you like about it?
I restart maps with most of the big updates so that new biomes aren't messed up. Maybe unneeded but I've read a lot of stories of messed up maps from the updates.
I use a pretty large starting island map right now, "vikingrind". Has most biomes and all three traders on the starting island.
The seed is the string of letters and numbers either next to, or right under your worlds names.
L0MGLGj8B5 - Is another variation of this exact same map, which perfectly highlights how predictable and boring the terrain/map generation is, if the height map doesn't move, the map doesn't change, even the biomes are in the same place.
GPnenJbv4I - This one is actually slightly unique, spawning on a sprawling continent, if you like fjords, this is the map for you.
xMsAujD5HC - This one has one of the largest black forest biomes I have ever come across just to the East of spawn island, also a decent sized mountain biome in the North of the spawn island.
what do you mean the height map? you can change how high the ceiling is?
That gets a little boring to a lot of players.
I like to start a new map once I get to and defeat Yagluth, the planes are bad enough for my cripple hands but there is no way I can move forward after that.
Every map is different and you get to explore a new map, this is what I like to do.
Lots of games use what is called a "height map" to generate terrain, it's basically just a coloured image that tells the game how high and low the terrain should be (blue for higher, red for lower etc), this generates the islands and land formations where the map is taller and the oceans and rivers where the map is lower.
If you have ever taken the time to look at the maps in Valheim you would notice it generates the exact same islands and oceans every time, it just shifts them up/down or left/right a bit.
