Can't open any worlds with mods

Hi, I've got a couple mods installed (via Thunderstore), and whenever I launch it modded, I can't open any worlds. I press start on a world, and nothing happens. Mods are all updated too.

The ThunderStore mod manager will update your mods more or less automatically. If all mods are up-to-date and your world still doesn't load, then the mods most likely have been abandoned and will no longer work.

Edit: Make sure that especially BepInEx and Jotunn are up-to-date. Without those two most mods will not work at all, even if they are still actively maintained.

I've re-installed BepInEX and Jotunn now, still doesn't work. I've tried to play it with just those 2 mods running, but to no avail.

Ok, are you using a mod manager? If so, try disabling ALL mods but BepInEx. Let us know if it works or not.

Yeah, I'm using Thunderstore as my Mod Manager. I've tried to disable all mods but BepInEx, still doesn't work :/ I'll try un-installing and re-installing the game and see if that works

Then your BepInEx is not up-to-date. If you made sure it is up-to-date, then something's indeed wrong with your whole game + mods installation. Uninstalling and reinstalling will not solve the problem unless you completely get rid of your mods as well.

On Windows, Valheim is usually stored here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\

Move the "Valheim" folder out of there and somewhere else (your desktop maybe), then reinstall the game. Don't worry, you won't lose your game saves.

Start the game as usual through Steam (NOT ThunderStore). Make sure it works. Next step is to start the game through ThunderStore and ONLY install BepInEx. Then try again running the game through ThunderStore.

Hey mate. No idea if that's what worked, but it's all running and good now!

Another thing that might've helped is I made a completely new Mod Profile in Thunderstore and re-installed all mods, and it worked!
