I updated my guide on how to make Valheim mods work on a Mac. It now includes an appendix on how to create an AppleScript app so you can start your modded version of Valheim just like any other app.
Thanks to @Tommy0o for this tip!
I also made a small change in the downloads section, where I added a paragraph on the new, experimental version 6 of BepInEx and that it is currently encouraged to still use version 5, as BepInEx 6 does not work with version 5 mods.
Let me know if you have any questions, or if you think something is missing. I will be glad to assist!
You can find the guide here:

The latest bug fix release for the Mac unfortunately breaks modding support completely for the time being.
The developer and porter of Valheim for Mac is aware of the issue. Let's hope a fix is coming soon(tm).
The technical explanation is that Valheim is now a signed application (as required by Apple) which stops external libraries (like doorstop) from loading. We will have to wait until this is fixed.
But this is just conjecture. I would have to ask the dev again. Not sure if I will get a straight answer, though.
You can always go back to the latest stable release of Valheim, though, which will make your mods work again. Do you need any particular advice on this?
