How to ind if creature is alive inside dungeon

I got killed by a 2* tick in an infested dungeon. I went back there and cleared the dungeon, but i couldn't find the tick anywhere.

I can still hear it jumping sometimes (is different than ambient creature sounds we have inside dungeons), and i can see the sneak eye icon open up when i walk around an area. I even leveled up my sneak doing this, which seems like there is something still alive in the dungeon. But i couldn't find it anywhere. Walked around and explored every corner several times, but can't find it.

Is there anyway (trick, mod, etc) to find a creature in a dungeon?

Yeah people really should be making the iron sledge for mistlands. Granted it can be very difficult and dangerous to get a draugr elite head. Thing can 1 shot multiple ticks at once and stagger whoever survives.

i ran into a 2-star fuling today. thing staggered me when i blocked and hit like a truck. managed to kill it with a bow, but it was a serious threat all by itself. and this was after i cleared the sealed tower, and got the last chest back.

2-star enemies are surprisingly strong in this game.

True. You can't block the 2*. But you can parry them. Provided you do use a shield.

Thanks for the replies! I managed to kill it, although i didn't get the loot, since it was stuck in a wall.

I crafted an iron sledge and went back. Took me a while but i sneaked around in the dungeon until i could guess his location, then i slammed everything around. Eventually i got the message that i dealt sneak damage, and the eye icon didn't open anymore when sneaking. I think the dungeon is clear now. Thanks again everyone.
