cant play mp
If you really want to use the Windows version then the latest stable version of Proton should work fine.
Personally I use a tweaked version of Proton made by "Glorious Eggroll" that I already have installed for playing Final Fantasy XIV. I have found the GE version of Proton to be stable and reliable for all the games I've tried it with so I would recommend getting the GE version.
You can get the Proton GE from here
https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom/releases
Site also has the instructions on how to install the version so it is available in Steam.
Good luck o7
