Current mistland is a land of jagged stone spikes and sheer cliffs.
I am doing a no portal, no map run right now as well. Currently still exploring my starter island and smelting copper. Getting to the second island was easy, but I would not have been able to find my way back if I didn't immediately built a giant arrow pointing there. I don't think I want to ever risk a boat trip on the open ocean without having land firmly in sight.
Can the event also occur while travelling across black forest and meadows?
I was probably in too much of a rush to get off of a Fandom, ha joke. My ad-blocker takes care of it but still despise that site.
Maybe there are some other restrictions that make it less likely on the mountains, like perhaps a maximum height or requiring flat ground. Or maybe the random chance is just 10x higher on plains or something. Don't know, but it feels way too unlikely to just be equal random chances.
In 1-2 cases it even happen while i was sailing on a river with plains area on both sides and the wolf all jumped into the water and swim after me.
Some areas of the ocean qualify as being part of another biome, and unfortunately the raid doesn't check to see if you actually have terra firma beneath your feet.
There's a screenshot of when I was sailing by a plains area and the event triggered. Funny part is my summoned skeles were following me underwater and fought the wolves beneath the boat.
