Hello
Ive been playin on a world I had before the update, but only explored the first Island of it, had not been to the sea, after looking a lot for it, and not founding it decided to look in a seed generator were it is, I went there and nothing, will I need to make a new world in order for it to spawn ?

you need to upload your 2 files for world into system to see the actual spawn location.. just using the seed is for an UNexplored world the moment you have landed it changes..

give that a try

So I can be sure it will spawn ?

You're fine. She will spawn in some random swamp you havent been near yet, and since you're still on your starting island that should be virtually all the swamps. You're fine. Even if you had explored all the swamps on the map there's a way to force her to spawn anyway. Just log in and play and enjoy. If you havent entered that world since the update it will take a bit longer to load the first time (and only the first time) as its generating her spawn points. You'll see a spinning symbol in the bottom right of the screen showing its progress on that.

Note- for some reason it doesnt just generate her possible spawn locations- it also re-generates from scratch the possible locations for every other boss and npc-related thing in the game that you havent yet visited in person yet. So if you have a boss or quest location marked on your map from a runestone or Hildirs map table but havent been to those locations yet, they probably wont be there if you go by later. You'll need to go back to the runestone or Hildir and clickthe runestone or map table again to get the new locations. Due to how I think it works it *probably* wont recalculate the location for Haldor or Hildir if you've spotting them on the map but havent visited yet. I *think* spotting them counts as visiting for this purpose, but dont quote me.

I have no idea what the hell the others are talking about uploading files etc.
Oh, maybe I do- there's a site that you can type your map seed into and it'll show you the full map of that world, including spawn locations etc. You dont need to upload any files usually, although I grant there is an option to do so for special cases.

There are multiple locations it can spawn. However, if you visited those areas --OR--got close to those areas in render(you dont have to fully render it but getting close can still prevent it) before the update, then you will have lost the ability on that map to have it show up.

Some alternative things you can consider:

1. Make a fresh version of that seed and change world modifiers and use dev commands to rebuild your base(s) and clearing bosses etc easily to get you to the point you were before.... or you can just enjoy doing things again but perhaps with differences(some like rebuilding at the game's normal pace etc).

2. Find a completely new seed from which to play. There are some really good seeds out there people have found here on the forums, reddit, youtube(there's a guy who posts vids mostly on seeds only) etc. If you want for example to have the Eikthyr-Queen on a large walkable continent there are etc. I've a list of seeds I keep for such purposes when an update changes things.

3. You can opt to find an easy seed that has an easy to access bog witch, build a base next to it and simply log between that map and your main (think of it as a "portal" if you will). This was a method people used to use before world modifiers to move metals.

Best of luck.

Yes, as long as you have the swamps where the npc WOULD spawn unexplored, but if ALL possible spawn points have been explored then, no.

the others are also right.. using the world generator can disclose quite a lot you may not want to see... look at turning off many options keep fog in the menu down the side.. so you may discover as the game intended

before you upload..
Change "Full Terrain" to "No Terrain (Fog)" IMHO
and for BOG WITCH you must see also Haldor and Hildir Possible locations when you select "Traders"
