Mistlands network fix mod?

Hey

So I've been trying to find a mod that's been updated to Mistlands that fixes the lag that's to do with players around you.
Our host has changed the server to a much better one but the issue remains the same.
I actually am very surprised this game is still running as slow as the slowest connection a nearby player has, or something along these lines (I don't understand the technicality behind this) after a year+ of development.


Anyway. There are mods to fix this, but i can't find one that works with the latest update. Anybody knows of one?


"BetterNetworking" is one but it's not up to date.

It's not about Mistlands but P2P connection, that's what killed my server as well, couldn't play with friends across the world, the upload exceeds the limit for some people with low connection, that creates lag for everyone around.
Standing still and doing nothing was about 200kb/s of upload where 240kb/s is a round limit for most people on an old DSL connection.

That's the thing. The mod increases the limit you mentioned. Apparently it worked for a lot of people with the exact problem you and me have. I wish there was one up to date though.

hope it helps, but for me it wont because Valheim literally eat my whole upload limit.

What was something that helped fix stuff on my server was when I disabled Cross-Platform play. We experienced heavy lags up to all players disconnected from the server even if all players played on PC.

Woohoo! Shame our server died. Owner got fed up with various things. I'll set up my own.

I've read about crossplay too so I'll play with that.
