Aw, c'mon, don't nitpick. The length of the day/night cycle in NMS is more than ample for my taste. YMMV. Besides, if I want daylight I can just fly to the other side of the planet or even to a different planet. It's always sunny somewhere. ;-)
There should be a valheim_plus.cfg in the config directory, but I don't think you can change the day/night cycle.
The config file should look like this: https://github.com/valheimPlus/ValheimPlus/blob/development/valheim_plus.cfg
https://valheim.thunderstore.io/package/TastyChickenLegs/LongerDays/

Nobody said it would be difficult. But it would also have ramifications of making exploration too easy: You'd also need a slider (or several in fact) for world size, enemy respawns, dungeon generation depth, all stamina, health and eitr values, etc. Otherwise you might as well cheat and stop time entirely at your leisure.
