Massive lag picking items

I'm on a server one of my friend hosts, whenever I pick up items my game freezes for a second. Never happened on any server I was on before.

We run some mods but I assume it's not them.

Anything similar happened to someone else? Is there a way to fix it? Kind of annoying.

Yeah, delays / lag has increased substantially on my server since the mistlands update. No mods

Been having a similar issue as well. Looking for a solution right now, willl come back here if i find anything.

Similar in solo play. Always when the status text (e.g. "you are sheltered") is being updated.

it’s definitely one of the mods, but nobody can help you if you don’t list the ones you are using

I've noticed the lags only occur while picking up items near my base, I don't have this issue when far away in the world. Probably one of the mods, but having a hard time figuring out which one. Any clues or hints? I can try disabling them and checking whether it helped

I watched someone play through the game with a couple mods (since I don’t use them myself) and he had a similar issue to you. I suspected the culprit was probably either Quick Stack or Craft from Chests, so you might want to see if disabling these mods fixes the issue. I can also try and see if I can find the full list of mods he was running if that doesn’t work so you can try and narrow it down further then.

I've just tried disabling plenty of mods and found out that you're right on point - Craft from Containers is causing this issue. But what's strange is that is still causes this massive lag-spike when picking up items even without almost any others mods - and somehow more people aren't reporting this issue? I'll try to fix it with some config changes or installing a different mod that does the very same thing, and will let you guys know if I manage to fix it

I've message the mod creator of Craft from Containers and she manage to already fix this issue, so download the latest version and you should also be good to go!
