The shotgun is an april fools joke. Surprisingly enough the pet rock is NOT. Obviously search around youtube or twitch streamers to confirm I'm not jerking you around before you spend time looking for one yourself.

Steep slopes in unexplored black forests around 1000 yards from spawn is apparently the best, although they can spawn in meadows also (witnessed on stream), and I'm told but without confirmation in swamps too.

If you have 2 of them close together they actually have babies, although the babies are just normal stones.
