Forge bellows

Is there some kind of trick to get the bellows placed? Always have trouble and have to re-arrange my forge and it's upgrades just to place the bellows....currently they won't go down anywhere in my home

It has to be right next to the Forge, I always have to rearrange when it comes to this upgrade. Sometimes I put the bellows in the corner and the forge right next to it so the bellows is not in the way.

Yeah, it also still has the restriction against being too close to other upgrades so it can be a pain in the ass.

Also it bugs me a little that once you build the bellows upgrade you effectively have two sets of bellows for the one forge, since the forge itself has bellows on it.

Yeah they are annoying, you kinda have to aim it at the coals on the forge, it doesn't have to be precise, but it also can't be too far off.

Bellows need less space around than big smith, but need to face the ember.

Since you need to place upgrades on the ground, you can use an iron reinforced beam to place a small floor section (or a horizontal wood beam) and be able to build your upgrades on height. Works well with most upgrades.
