Askvin Eggs

Considering the fact you can get eggs when they breed, is there someone who has already gotten eggs and have one to spare? I can not find a 2 star askvin anywhere and ive explored ages during the night. Only 1 stars

whoever told you that 2 stars only spawn at night gave you bad advice. they can spawn during anytime. night just has more enemies spawning in generel. but its not like wolfs or gjall.

if you want a handout you can just spawn one in with commands.

I have 1 star Askvin and they eat:

- Smoke puffs
- Grapes
- Fiddleheads

They then lay eggs which need to be near a fire of any kind (not lava).

They can be bread anywhere, including the meadows (I have mine with Lox in the Plains), but here is my early attempt in the Ashlands where they laid tons of eggs:

they lay eggs when they breed. you cannot find the eggs in the wild. the eggs have quality levels like fish. 1 2 and 3. if the egg is quality 3 it will hatch into a 2 star. the egg quality depends on the breeding pair as with any offspring of starred tames.

and asksvins eat ANYTHING that grows in the ashlands naturally.

smoke puffs.
vineberrys.
fiddleheads.

can use any of these for tameing and feeding.

Yeah they lay eggs and it’s actually really nice because you don’t have to worry about trying to transport them back to wherever your main base is.

Fun fact: 50 (give or take) 2 star tamed Asksvins absolutely shred the Ashlands biome boss in a minute.

fun fact you can hatch asksvin eggs inside the queens citadel and have them fight her^^
