Finally, some good wind!

Anyone else really feeling murphy's law when it comes to wind direction and sailing? Just got wind that's not blowing directly from my direction for like the first time ever....

used to think that, but it seems to be random. You have 1-in-4 chance to get a wind going againt you, but as it forces you to almost stop, you end up spending most of the time sailing against the wind.

The wind is supposed to follow a pattern that is related to world seed iirc.

I am lucky in my world it mostly flows south by day and north by night so I can plan accordingly.
It won't always be a nice consistent pattern though, sometimes you'll get one that flips periodically. Just something to pay attention to and try and remember generally where it goes.
