game not responding

just got the game on steam created a new character then started a new world but every time i click start i get the stuck on the loading screen then hit with a not responding every time, any fix to this ?

Yeah, wait.
I'm not kidding. The first world load takes a while and, on slower systems, can cause it to hang and show the "not responding" window. Ignore it and wait.

IGNORE no respoding and WAIT. the frist load takes a long time because it has do to world generation once again.

i dont get a chance a few seconds after the not responding the game auto closes, i can keep trying but dont wanna waste to much time so i cant get a refund on it, ive sunk hundreds of hours in the game on xbox but now i pc i wanna play it on here but getting this problem.

You sure you meet the minimum requirements to run the game? Sounds like maybe your rig could use a few upgrades.

so the 5 times i tries before making this post failed to start a new game soon as i make a post and try it loads no problem no not responding lol my luck, thanks for the quick responds.

its way above reccomended i play cod/warzone on on ultra settings and get 100+ fps

Just to eliminate the obvious. Your Steam install is 100% up to date and you've rebooted recently yes?

Reason I ask I had this issue and that what cured it just this week.
