Random spawn location (mod) multiplayer

Hi,

was looking here, on reddit and in the wiki for a way to solve this: We want to start a new Valheim server and all players should spawn in a different location.

Afaik this is not possible in the standard version, to we looked for a mod making this possible (didn't found one) and, because I don't think any mod can do this, to look for start friendly (meadows, black forest around) respawn locations manually.

So an admin can move everyone away from the initial spawn to a pre-selected location: admin goes there, recalls player1, moves to next pos, recalls player2.

Problem 1: The recall command doesn't seem to work properly. Not on great distances.
Problem 2: Is there any way to show on the map on the mouse coord the pos data? So you don't have to guess the correct pos data for a special point on the map?

Our way of solving this atm would be:
1. admin reveals map for himself
2. scouts out suitable places/pos data
3. writes them down
4. gives everyone admin
5. everyone goes to his pos with goto x y, sets personal spawn point (bed)
6. remove admin

A rather cumbersome solution.

Only mod that alters spawn points for players that I know of is singleplayer only, but as for the coords, have a look here:

enter your map seed and hit "Go".
You also can enable/disable multiple markers, the ones you might be interested in might be the "Villages", the ones where the ruined remains of a small number of huts are. NOT the Draugr Villages!

The admin could create portals from the default respawn area to the individual 'respawn points'/starting areas. Of course this would require relying on the honor system to prevent players from portalling to each other's spawn points. One of the benefits of using portals for this is that players could then get back to the real respawn area in order to hang heads and/or change Forsaken powers. Much depends on exactly what you want to achieve.
