Report a translation problem
thx for your feedback. But as I told in my mainpost I´m not using any mods even not my two friends. One of my friends is quite new in the game the other friend reactivated his character for a while.
We played on my seed and as I told before I´m only using normal survival mode and I´m 100% sure that no one of my friends using mods or console comands.
Maybe its because of my progress in the game. Me and also 1 of my friends allready killed the 5 available bosses in the game by normal summoning them.
The strange thing now is that we get ingame messages as warning before. For example before moder spawned there was a message ingame that says "moder is angry" or "the twisted soul of yagluth is summoned" Please be in mind that I play in german, so the translation is maybe not fully correct.
Even this was not the first time I was raided by a boss. A few weeks ago when I was also playing with a friend, moder came to my base and it was a hard fight. She destroyed 50% of my base before me and that friend was able to kill her. But after we killed her the game continued normal and I recreated my base.
But this time there were 3x times moder, eikthyr, bonemass and then after a bit of time yagluth also spawned nearby or in my base.
I have no clue what happened. I can only say it felt like armageddon...
So is there anyone who faced the same or similar situation?
The reason for writing here is, I also never thougt or heared that bosses raid the bases of players but pls believe it happened exact that way to me. Maybe someone here has a clue what triggered that or maybe how I can prevent this. Do I have to make a new seed (maybe my seed is broken?) and will this help?
Many thx for your help in advance!
Hope you can help me!
Seems like obvious fabrication to me. Don't feed the troll.
Should the control server spawn no monsters, then you will know that the game itself is guaranteed to not be the problem and that you now have a list of friends to watch.
My next step would then be to play with your friends, and while playing, keep a close eye on the who is on list by pressing F4 or F2. This will bring up server stats and whoever is on at the time, including players who dont want to keep their name visible on the map. And when a boss suddenly appears to ruin your day...
You now have a list of people at hand who could have done the deed. And anyone trying to be sneaky by keeping their name invisible from the map will have all but painted a big red X on their chest.
Because if its vanilla, the game wont spawn bosses randomly. Someone is having a giggle at your expense. Or they might think its a funny prank to play.
Bosses, do not actually show up for raids, they send their minions to raid...
I have played through all the current content, numerous times, ALL vanilla and all solo, and I know for sure that bosses do not spawn at players base, ever, for any reason.
One of your friends DID do this and now it's your choice to be in denial or not, but one of them definitely did this.

Uninstall the game via Steam, then go to the install directory, default should be:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common
If there is still a Valheim folder, delete it manually (this will not affect your saves, they are stored somewhere else).
Reinstall the game via Steam.
I will check that out. From now on I will use password protection for my seed.
Many thx again!
"The twisted soul of Yagluth IS SUMMONED"
(my caps).
Someone summoned him. If it wasn't you, it was your friend- who isn't exactly acting like a friend. Sorry.
