Same thing with the tar pits. To keep growths from coming back you have to drain the tar and cover the drained pit with workbenches.
Even if you do that random fulings, deathsquitoes, and lox can still spawn (especially at night) and if they do and destroy your workbenches then the spawn point is no longer suppressed.
Respectively, as long as the village buildings (towers, tanning racks, huts) stand, the spawning rate seems massive, almost instant like with the nests and piles in the other biomes.
if the question should arise: We run the game no mods vanilla, latest version.
Just saying this is an odd post to me as I've cleared many villages and never touched the buildings or put up workbenches and they are devoid of life. Usually they get taken over by lox if anything lol
I am pretty sure that we pulled the whole lot, 6-10 seemed enough tbh, playing coop as 2 ^^ We do a few more villages and check on your theory :D
I've ran through cleared villages many times and they were always empty.
A month ago, I came across a Fuling tower on the edge of a meadows/plains border that also kept respawning Fulings. Tower had the same altar inside it and, again, respawns stopped after I destroyed it (again, only change before the respawns stopped).
Obviously this is merely two points of experience from a single player and therefore not particularly scientific. Take it as you please.
So, yes, there does seem to be a spawner, no, it does not appear to be a permanent thing.
enemies come back if i don't touch the totem. If this is true than that would mean it would be possible to farm these villages, especially berserkers, if their part of this respawning mechanic, as they are very well known for not being a respawnable enemy, outside of raid you get pre yagluth being defeated
But already mentioned the spawn points around the villages still exist and the spawned enemies wander/fly around - into and out the village. Destroing the buildings in the villages is not necessary because also no effect.
Although I'm about 140 Fuling villages behind Mr. X my experience is the same
No respawns from the village but random ones (no Beserkers or Shamans) around the area during the day and small groups at night.
Every 3 game days I can go back and new fulings will spawn but if I go back before that time has passed no new ones spawn there until that 3 game days has passed.

And is it definite that the spawns are coming from the village or are they just normal plains spawns? I'd really like confirmation from a developer or mod at this point if villages have the ability to respawn enemies.
Also is it possible for OP to untag this post as answered as I don't believe this is a open shut case yet.
