And saying that you're not a newbie is irrelevant. We don't know you, and we don't know how much you're familiar with the game. Even if you're familiar, there the possibility that small things just pass you, for no specific reason. It's just like that, sometime. It happens now and then, to all of us.
And I am not even speaking about the possibility that you pretend that you rock at the game, but in fact, know very little. I am not saying it is your case, but it happens enough for people to ignore your "i am not a newb" statement.
their post basically reads: im a noob and i broke my hammer, i made a new one and it also broke, how do i fix this bug?
^the way they wrote their post makes them sound like a complete noob that doesn't know you can repair the hammer.
as for what's going on, this is a known issue with people who rebind buttons on the controller.
you aren't supposed to do that.
lmao
from patch 214.300
* Settings for keybindings should now be saved correctly
yet literally right after that patch there was a bug report about keybinds being cleared after saving them.
it is a known issue that changing keybinds, and controller inputs will cause a bug like this.
to clarify, this only happens with certain keybinds, so rebinding "sit" and "autorun" may work for you, but things like the destroy keybind and others completely go missing.
try to keep it light and not take anything so serious, my point was that it's a known issue, and changing keybinds will cause the bug.
so "don't do that" is a joke
