Love the new crystal walls
I just wish we could stack them without having to attach them to other pieces.

I want to make a literal vault full of the new treasure chests and gold piles with a ward. You can see it, but you cant have any.

Same, I'm going to put this in suggestions.

Personally I think its silly. Looks like the glass block tiles of Miami Vice days. Definately not Viking. Of course even worse, you HAVE to put one in now for "comfort". This game started off very immersive, but its turning into something silly.

oops I shouldnt give my opinion, Ill get banned by someone who cant tolerate opinions.

They work great as windows

People got crystals, ask for some use for them. People ask for winders.
Devs provide use for crystals, shutters: now we can has better windows.

result:
some people mad anyway.

I like them, you can use them as 'ice' or 'glass' or just hide one in your chimney if you don't like but want + comfort. I'd like to make a whole home out of it, but they are kinda small and resource heavy for that. Even one large wall would be an undertaking.

I was thinking of using them for windows too but gee glass is endgame and requires painful amounts of farming ...

Alot of effort in this patch for silly building and crafting stuff. ALOT. Think if they only added one more biome/mobs/boss. there would be much less noise from the bleachers, except the singing of happy Vikings

Expecting more biomes and bosses from the 'home' patch seems unrealistic. It was pretty clear months ago what we would get, give or take a few details. I would love new areas to open on up too, but I got exactly what they said I would this time around.

As far as gameplay, I dunno, maybe this was wise. A few new building parts adds hours and hours of fun for people that like to build up their home. A new biome and boss adds a few hours and its done, then on to crying for the next one.

Yes that is true. No doubt. "I" would have preferred time spent elsewhere on the game, but Im nobody, lol

What's this about them affecting comfort?

Not everyone considers new biulding and crafting items to be silly. Valheim is suposed to be a creative sandbox as well as a survival game. Personally I was more excited by the building additions than the changes made to the food and combat systems.

If you would prefer a survival only focused game perhaps you should seek a differenet title to play.
