you don't hold right click, you tap it for a direction.

You want the game to run and move around for you? Why don't you just have the game play itself.

no but whole auto run idea is to save you from extra buttons lol. i think they try to say facing left and right with mouse, without an extra button.

I dont get it.. Auto run, just runs, you still need to steer with the mouse or other keys. what am I missing? What do you expect it to do?

Auto-run is not broken, but it is a bit tricky. When you want to steer, hold down the auto-run key briefly until you are aimed in the new direction. Or use the mouse to look in the direction you want to go, then tap the auto-run key.

Tapping the auto-run key while in auto-run does not act as a toggle. It changes direction to the direction your character is looking and returns to auto-run.

Im super confused. For me, Q is my autorun as such, I can hit Q and it just runs. I dont have to hold anything down. If I want to turn, right mouse and adjust and the autorunning just keeps on running.

Auto-run is so not-broken. Decoupling the direction you look from the direction you move means you can look all-around as you go, including straight behind at the dogged little greyling that's been following you for a mile. Never mind him. If the way ahead is clear, eat a bite, consult the big map, declutter and zoom the thumbnail out to show your destination.

I want and immersive game but I want the game to auto run so I don't have to hold buttons..wait what?
