All my towns and everything I built is gone.

I just logged in and it said day one. Problem is that my clothes are gone but my 1-8 slots with all my black metal weapons are still there. I'm standing there naked but in the last place I logged out of holding a black metal tower sheild and Frostner. Looked around and all my towns I spent 490 hours building are gone. all my differnt places acoss the world are all gone even though I can still see all my pins. The land which they were all sitting on are all virgin. I'm on my seed/server. Am I supposed to import stuff or something? I really hope this is normal and I'm missing something.

You mean did I ever play around with mods? sure. every once in a while. Mostly played vanilla. is that the issue?

if that world had mods it likely broke. All mods were broken in some way with the update. If you loaded the world with those broken mods your world is screwed.

Were you using mods before the update? I've had similar inventory/gear things happen, as the result of switching from Valheim+ to vanilla (you lose anything in extra slots, which for me was all my gear.) The missing town doesn't make sense though, that's rough... You shouldn't have to do anything, our maps should be uneffected. (Mine was, but I restarted anyway)

if he was using a mod that make some kind of different wall it might have destroyed them.

That was my thought too, except for the terrain being reset to its original state. There should be SOME evidence of prior buildings, unless the map was reset. But yeah it could still be mod related, depending on what might have been used.

No I wasn't doing any of that. What I'm saying is that my map still has every pin but every single building or wall or anything I ever created is gone. It all looks like virgin land again. And to be fair I probably played for 200 hours before I even knew there _were_ mods. So there should be Something there. :(

I literally had 3. BepInExPac, the equiptment and quick slots, and a transport wolves . that's it. must have been one of those. I guess

My compound has been lost as well and i didnt use any mods. The world/save works fine in single player but the server wont load any buildings.

Its a mod thing. If you have backups you could load that AFTER you uninstalled/disabled all outdated mods.

Since you said you used BepInExPac this sounds familiar. If you are still using it I believe it is using a different save of the world (the original one) instead of your main save. Your other save should be still there with your buildings and everything else. Just gotta find what they are named as. Can't tell you more then that as I encountered a similar issue with it ~7 months ago or so and my memory isn't that good.
