Live in a troll cave?

So I finally got strong enough to kill a troll that was roaming around, then I found one in a cave and ran in and out shooting it with my rank 3 crude bow and flint arrows, but I am left wondering... could I make this a place to live, or will a troll respawn in here?

Game has some LotR vibes and all, as it should, but I think living in a troll hole is less than desirable for most, even trolls. But hey, who am I to judge? Maybe you're that sort of viking... lol

Yeah for sure you can't place any building objects in the cave, but you can place a campfire and get the rested buff in a pinch. I built a workbench right outside the entrance and put a campfire in front and it stopped greydudes from attacking me and I could rest and repair/build. I decided not to use this cave entrance as a base though, because it was super close to my base in the area already.
