Fishing rod: until fish gets more recipes, it's far from being that good.
Light hat: way less armor than the copper helm and a simple torch create more light.
Strength belt: manage your inventory?
I like the exploration aspect of this game so far, having him to spawn to easily kinda break the point of exploring (is already not that hard to find is you do explore)
I think the only thing that would make me agree to such a proposition, would be to add more non-essential landmarks of comparably high value first. Until then, no thanks.
As far as I can tell there seems to be a heightened chance that his spawns can generate within 50-100 feet of an Elder spawn. It is definitely not a guarantee for every seed, but there's too much black forest for it to keep happening by chance so often. Or so I think.
