how to survive in the snow biome?

ive gotten up to bronze in armor but i doubt that will keep me warm, how do i go into that biome without being frozen to death?

You need to unlock the frost potions and then the wolf armour that makes you immune to the cold unless you are actually wet.
The frost potions are made in a cauldron and then fermenting in a barrel for a couple of days.
Cauldrons I think require iron?
You will probably find you need to kill several bosses to unlock those.

cauldrons require 10 tin.

Alternatively, spam campfires but unless you have item from third boss and an iron pick, there's no point being there.

I agree with this poster. Unless you're already geared well into Iron you're probably wasting your time in the Mountains anyway even with the frost resist. You'll have some very frustrating experiences without better gear.

Just stick to the bios as intended and do the Maedow, Black Forest and Swamp before the Mountain area (and no - Plains are realy not a good idea to visit before that).
