As far as gameplay goes, the UI is rough but everything is mapped, even if a few of the button combinations are tricky and the layout is a little off. Someone said you can't zoom in on a controller but I didn't even know you could do that and it hasn't bothered me.
You got a joystick or HOTAS setup plugged in to your pc? or another similar controller besides xbox one?
Map marking I can't do with controller
Text entry for names, etc...
Can't split stack with controller, unless I haven't discovered it yet. AH...see the solution above...just discovered this morning how to use the Use Mode for the Hoe and Cultivator.
Can't seem to 'Repair' an item when I'm in the Workbench with the controller. I get the KB [R] prompt when in that menu even with my controller? And when I press R on my KB...does not repair the item, I have to use the mouse and click it.
These could have solutions, they're not ones I've discovered yet.
Is there a mapping image anywhere to tell us exactly what button does what action, yet??
'R' means press the right stick down.
One other thing I don't know how to do on controller, is how to activate my special Eikthyr ability. edit: down on d-pad does the special ability
Apart from that, map labelling, and text entry - it plays pretty well.
But I would loooove a weapon wheel style popup, rather than using d-pad to control the hotbar. At least let d-pad wrap left/right rather than stop at the ends.
Hi. thanks. I figured out the issue. I had a second controller plugged in as well. Once I unplugged that, then the main controller worked fine and the spinning stopped.
...seems I only need KB/M for text entry boxes, good job Devs!!
Adding and removing map markers as well.
