How to defeat ghosts in dungeons?

A ghost is preventing me from getting all my weapons and gear back in dungeon. How do I kill it?
I've gone in there four times and have gotten killed every time. Do I just have to start over and build up my weapons and armor again, then retrieve my gear at a later time?

I was able to kill ghosts when I had a level 4 fine bow (using fire arrows) and all 4 pieces of leather troll armor each at level 2. Hope that helps, good luck!

i just kill them with my club, its level 3, and i have the leather armour currently

What I did what just hit the ghosts with a club, and dodge their attacks. I usually pulled the ghosts to the entrance, so if I run out of stamina, I can just exit and regenerate stamina. Then go back inside and go at it again. Later the ghosts are no issue though.

I literally killed the first ghost I encountered in a couple of hits with a flint axe.... Really not that difficult

I think you have to dodge a lot. I almost died with my first encounter.

Just bash them with something and they die pretty fast.

Dungeon = burial champer? If thats the case you can just go back to the enterance, jump on the stone and shoot it with a bow...
