Spawn conditions for 2 star asksvin

hi,

are there any special conditions that must be met to allow 2 star asksvin to spawn? from reading the wiki, it seems they can spawn anywhere 0 and 1 star asksvin can spawn, but only at night.
i am trying to find a 2 star one to tame but i just can't get one to spawn. i have basically grinded somewhere between 30 and 40 nights now and killed around ten 0 and 1 star ones per night but i have never even seen a 2 star one.

They spawn at night, about a 1% chance although I'm not sure since the update if that is still the case. Make sure you have a pit prepared in the area you are looking, fairly deep with a platform to escape to, pref with portal to get there rested and a saddle to ride it home since you might find one fairly far from base (I did) and definitely health + stam food (2H + !S) since those guys hit REALLY hard and fast.
