Crystal wall
I don't know how to use this. All it can do is make 1 row next to the ground. Is there a way to make it a bit larger? What is the benefit of this over just using iron bars?

It's meant to make windows. "Wall" is a bit of a misnomer.
They snap poorly and won't snap to each other so you have to make a beam with another material and snap the crystal pane to it. This results in a window wall that is at max 2 meters wide (or 2 meters tall) and can be as long (or as wide) as the beam you are using. If you remove the beam after placing the crystal walls, the crystal walls that are no longer attached to the beam break.

This video will cover the basics of glass building in valheim. There are videos that cover more advance techniques if you can find them. https://youtu.be/GjkINORaOog?si=fyfh0DX9TVor6F4u
