Also, whoever at iron gate thought making ground fog so thick that you can´t see your own feet anymore should probably stop working as a game designer.

With Valheim having a console, I would have thought that there should be a console command like in Skyrim to FW (Force Weather )
With various types of weathers having a code. like FW 81a
Or like Skyrim the Shout Clear skies to get rid of fog Would be brilliant and clear and suitable for a Nord warrior. Dreaming
The command you're looking for is 'env'.
Thanks I'll give a try
I don't have much of a problem with fog, but then I'm not turning off the map. I can see that it is probably a big problem when not using the map. You get hopelessly lost.
With the map? No big deal. That's what you got it for.
That has to be an issue with graphic settings.
I get that these things don't have to be realistic as it's a creative choice, but it really just sucks the life out of sea exploring - which I LOVE, sailing is so frigging cool in this game, but there is nothing fun being constantly forced to stop and stand still waiting and waiting and hoping you can see something again before the night hits and it gets pitch black.
I'm all for the sudden spooky fog rising up, it's a great immersion in the game, but the intervals need to be cut WAY back so it actually feels like something special, not a daily tiresome nuisance (not the least cause fighting in the boat is beyond dreadful and the monsters, which you normally could deal with 2 sword swings, can literally walk under the boat and kill you through the bottom of it while you cannot hit them, so aggroing stuff while sailing is just unrealistically dangerous)
