Are you trying to build a village by him or something ?
There are a lot of possible locations he can show up. But once you find him the first time he will be disabled from all other spots. That is why i find it weird that people haven't found him exploring the ocean for more than a few hours.
One of his potential spawn points was on a small island I wanted to set up like a trading port town featuring him. Not a big deal, but if there was a dev command or mod that would let me move/reset him to there that would be awesome.
if you can't find a way to hack it, recreate the seed and go there first...
I think there is a mod to move your base to the new map, too? I don't use them, but i saw references to this?
there is no command to despawn trader in multiplayer.
It's not technically a multiplayer server, just a personal map that I opened up for my friends when we were playing together for a while. No backup saves though and it's looking like I'll just have to deal :3
Too much already done in the world to want to reset it, and the base moving mods seem too, finiky, for me to trust them.
