I even took part in that discussion. Do mean the fact that the peak would always be in the same in relation to the rest of the terrain map and i just need to basically find where my center of the world is in relation to that?
It looks like three of the tall ones are in the north of the master map. I wonder if "Polaris" (the tallest one) is still accessible after the sea level changes leading to Ashlands. It looks like "Hook" can be found by looking for the two circular lakes on the islands below it.
As I mentioned in that thread, the low altitude coastlines might vary somewhat from one seed to another, but the mountain ranges will always be the same.
On one version of it there is flavor text describing the three highest peaks. I think two of them go above the cloud line/layer. And one just meets it. One has a duel peak I think, with an adjoining valley. Good Luck! They won't appear on every map, however. Your best indication would be to look for the same island shape. Unless it is cut by some other biome it should be the 'same' everywhere.
