PSA: Willybachs HD textures
Willybach's HD textures pack is back!
For those who don't like the vanilla textures perhaps this upgrade will be more to your liking. It's the only mod I play with and I highly recommend it.

Not fan of mods in like 95% of cases but that thing looks absolutely great! So much work and dedication... Reminds me a lot of some skyrim retextures and overhauls. Thx for sharing this find, it's incredible!

Willy recommends combining it with Badgers HD terrain mod, which lets you determine the draw distance and density of grass.
Yes that would definitely tweak performance issues for some people.
