Love Potions

Anyone test this out yet?
So far as I can tell it makes Trolls have purple hearts, like animals when they are getting amorous with each other, and it makes them aggro in a larger radius. I had tested out 20 minutes worth of love potion while hiding behind a giant rock, didn't seem to charm him so I am wondering what this is for?

Haven't attempted it with anything, myself, but I wouldn't be surprised if the potion itself is a troll from the devs, akin to ballistae firing on friendlies. Recall, trophy targeting on those was only added in after vociferous complaint.

While I don't necessarily agree that every little thing in Valheim is done to intentionally & negatively impact the player experience, I'm also not blind to the fact that IG doesn't seem to have qualms about sucker-punching us when it amuses them, so if the love potion has no purpose beyond what you describe, that also wouldn't surprise me.

Im curious myself what it does, if anything as pointed out. My idea prior to the patch even getting to the ptb was that it's temporay luring an enemy to your side. But who knows...
