Advice for farming a particular enemy?
Drakes specifically, I need tons of frost arrows, but general mob farming tips might be useful. Not sure if I should be teleporting to different mountains or running a long distance on the same one. Maybe it would be more efficient to build a road if all the spawning needs is for me to move a certain distance away. Night spawns more, but maybe sleeping would be better to reset the spawns. So many unknowns, so what's the best method?

Curious why you need so many frost arrows, but never the less if you find nests/eggs there will always be 3-4 drakes around them.

So you can explore a mountain, mark the nests and then make a farming route coming back when they respawn.

Frost arrows are the best arrows for Mistlands and Ashlands. Because basically everything is resistant to Pierce, the higher tier pierce-only arrows are worse damage, plus the frost arrows slow as well. Don't want to use magic because that means sacrificing defense/hp.

You have to be high up in the mountains (you now you're high enough if you can find obsidian.)

As an alternative to walking the egg route, you can spend some time building ob on the top of a mountin, maybe a castle-style portal hub or something similar. Over time you will get a lot of freeze glands.

I found a few really large mountain areas and put up portals in the log huts or ruins there. Go there during the day or night and just roam around killing them with a crossbow. 5 glands is 100 arrows so dont need too many... but I do have a hard time getting them to spawn sometimes. Making noise or felling trees also draws them to you. It can be a pain.. wish the "Cold Wind" raid was permanent.

@Sotanaht I just melee in the Mist (minus the blimps). I have found a sledge or Atgier is just so much quicker than arrows, but I can see why you need them if you tend to play ranged.

I had a little lodge close to a nest that I visited every so often to replenish freeze glands but got most mining silver.
