Perform whit DLSS or FRS?
I was wondering why the game didn't implement any modern super resolution systems. A DLSS or a FRS.
The game is playable at 1080p 60FPS all on high except lights and shadows on medium.
The problem with the title is that even with a modern video card and a quad core processor it tends to lag often dropping from 60 fps to 57.55. Is a modern implementation of the resolutions planned by the developers?
My Build: i5 7500 - RTX 3050 8gb - 16gb ram DDR4 - Crucial SSD 1tb - windows 10 pro 64.
Thanks for the replies:MeanMcAllister:

Not really sure why there isn't any, i know it is a fairly small developer and i am not a programmer or anything, i can't say how the unity engine they use would integrate it. Though i would have to doubt the fidelity at 1080 P since it would upscale from something like 720p

i try upscale, 740p low under 900p native, but the lag its the same.
I try to force game at 55FPS and game lose 2/3 FPS .... its a lag problem?

The game is typically CPU bound, so reducing GPU workloads doesn't help (DLSS etc)

My CPU is a i7 3770S and the GPU unmentionable. With all graphics low and render at 40% I manage to play just fine until pirotechnics like Valk attacks, which I just wait our. On someone's advice I set the fps at 144, not 60, which seems to work better. Thank goodness Valheim lets the CPU do most of the work or I wouldn't have had so many hours of fun.

Why the hell you telling here is cpu bound ? :D its definetly not i have 5600x and all time usage is around 34% but my 3060 is on 75-95%, its definetly not cpu heave game.
