Why isnt Seeker Aspic a level 4 recipe

As title says why isnt Seeker Aspic a level 4 recipe all ingredients are Mistland gathered and should be cooked from a level 4 cauldron seems to hamstring anyone trying to do any serious magic starting out before you even reach Ashlands.

Mortar and Pestle is much easier to acquire than your first Etyr. Just need black marble, no?

The only cauldron upgrade i can see being an issue is Turnips, which are rare and hard to find given the layout of the swamps, at least towers inside the mountains for Onion Seeds stick out like a sore thumb

I found the problem I had all the upgrades but for some reason pots and pans were to far over Thanks

are turnips really that hard to find? i have done multiple worlds, have horrible eyesight, and i always seem to find them in the first swamp i am in. Not trying to be a troll or anything, but i keep reading how rare they are, so either i have gotten stupidly lucky each time, people are over looking them or they aren't rare. I am more or less seeking additional information on "why" they are considered rare. Besides the "small amount of land to grow on. They always seem to be in every swamp i visit.

I just started playing again and just recently reached swamps again. I've found everything in my first swamp.... Except turnip seeds. Hell, said swamp had only one surtling vent. And yet it had well over 10 crypts, AND bonemass altar. I didn't find a seed until I started scouting for the bog witch. Literally on the shore as I was pulling in with the boat of the closest island with the witch.

Oh, i have had more trouble finding those surtling vents, then i have turnips, hell i have had more trouble finding the sunken crypts at times then i did finding turnips, i guess RNG will be RNG.

I normally find them by circling the first biggish swamp I get to. Afterall, you only need three seeds to start production.

I normally find them by circling the first biggish swamp I get to. Afterall, you only need three seeds to start production.

I mean to be fair, you can start with only one. :D

This pretty much. They're easy to overlook in the gloomy swamp atmosphere but if you're looking from outside the biome on a sunny day they're really easy to see.

Watched my cousins stream and he went thru 5 Swamp biomes until he found first turnips so yes they can be rare. However I had gone thru a biome come back thru and one had spawned right thru same area I had cleared so wondered if it was a delayed spawn.

True, but i was just being literal. More of just being silly. Like for example if you somehow end of using enough to only have ONE left, you can always rebuild from that one. While it is highly unlikely you would end up with only one left, it is possible.
