Will Valheim be updated after 1.0?

I have been watching Valheim since its release and the first thing that came to my mind when I figured out that there were biomes and each one gets progressively harder. Is that this could be a new great game like minecraft where every now and then we get a big update with new mobs, weapons and in this case the new biome. And untill few days ago I taught that it is gonna be that way more or less, but when I read the latest post on the steam patch notes for Valheim I was kinda surprised but in the same way not because Iron Gate is a small dev team so I kinda knew that it wouldnt go the way i thought. So I was wondering if someone could reply and answear my question what will happen with Valheim after The Deep North biome update?, will Iron Gate start making new projects/games?, Will they continue to update Valheim maybe with smaller updates?, or simply what are they planning? if you know the answear or just have an idea what they might be up to share it under in the comments, I would love to hear what Valheim community thinks what will happen .

Yes, one of the devs implied in a recent interview that there will be content updates after it goes gold. How much? They didn't say, but some at least.

Also in the same interview they said The Deep North would not be a difficulty jump over Ashlands but rather 'difficult in a different way'.
